This is a local family diner that has become a staple in the area. Upon my arrival, various customers were friendly and conversed with me. It was very welcoming and felt like a neighborhood gathering spot. The atmosphere felt different than other restaurants. I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo. The sauce had a good creamy texture, but had absolutely no flavor. The shrimp, however, were larger than expected and flavorful. Some of the entrees come with only 1 trip to the salad bar, which, while missing common items like peas and broccoli, offers some unique items like beets, peppers, and pickles. The menu is very large. It has everything from burgers and seafood to Greek, Italian, sandwiches, steak, wings, pizza, and a large selection of desserts. Even though the restaurant is known for its pizza, there is something for everyone. One thing I liked was the attentive service, though there were a few things I didn't like. For instance, the staff swept around our table while we were eating. Also, my meal arrived well before the ladies' orders. I felt the food should all come out together. I plan on going back. However, next time I may try one of the many pizzas they offer. After all, that's what they are known for. Tip: if you pay with cash, you get a discount.

Luckily this place was open after the hurricane and even though they were busy we were sat immediately and had no downtime getting our drinks and order in. The staff were phenomenal and super friendly despite all the chaos of the amount of people looking to get a hot meal after the storm. The place reminded me of a family style restaurant and made you feel right at home. All of the food was amazing and was very plentiful on the portion size compare me to what you pay. This place is far from where we live but my kids constantly ask when we can go back, such a great spot!

We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Pizza is very good, Stromboli's are also, gyro was good also. I always order to pick up. Web site is very easy to navigate and the staff is very friendly when I go in. I strongly recommend them if you add anywhere close. We will continue to order from them on nights I'm not cooking. Go get you some!

A long time favorite of many. Newbies to the area may thumb their nose at the SC HoP, but that's okay. The restaurant is a simple place. A small town kind of place. The service is always friendly and you would think for a moment that you're family by the way you're treated. Everything is cooked to order. While they are the House of Pizza, the chicken stir-fry is always fantastic. Today's order was a simple large pepperoni to go. The crust has a nice crisp edge with a medium soft under side. The sauce has a sweetness to it. The pepperonis have plenty of flavor without being too spicy. Quite an enjoyable meal. If you can find the room, I would recommend a slice of cake - so many choices. All delicious. Well worth the $5.95 to $6.95 a slice.

My wife and I make the drive to South Congaree House of Pizza all the time. Their food is tasty and plentiful. They serve you enough for lunch at home the next day. They have Italian and Greek food. I like the Lasagna. The Spaghetti is good as well. The servers are excellent and very attentive to your needs. You are usually greeted at the door. It's a very nice place.

This place has been open in my neighborhood since I was a kid. Not a lot has changed - but that's a great thing. It isn't fancy dining but the food is great. The dare served here is the South Carolina version of Mediterranean food that's been popular for several generations since the Greek immigrants moved here and brought us this delicious cuisine. These folks are later arrivals and not Greek but they know we all want. The guys that run the place are nice men and the food is stellar.

I did take out, so I don't know how the ambiance is in the restaurant. Went to try for the first time after my Dad went here a couple times, was not disappointed. They definitely give you plenty of food which is good for the price. Alfredo: I feel they gave me plenty of shrimp for that size of it, not like some restaurants that might give you like two to three pieces of shrimp. They do give you just the right amount of alfredo sauce once you stir it up, not too little or too much where it's drowning. Sauce is creamy and you get that hint of garlic, so there's nothing runny or bland here. Just know the side salad has no dressing of any kind with it, which is just fine with me as I had leftover ranch from the bites. Their menu said the alfredo came with a piece of garlic bread, but I didn't get it. No biggie however, for when the food was picked up they were pretty busy for dinner. So it's all good, we're human. Broccoli cheese bites: It's a unique appetizer as I never had anything like that before in my life, but it was actually pretty good. Inside a nice golden brown batter, it's a mixture of broccoli, melted cheese, and some bacon. All flavors were equal and didn't overpower the other, and thankfully nothing wasn't too salty at all. Cannolis: These things are freaking good. They may look like they're really sweet because of the powdered sugar and chocolate chips, but they're actually not. Just the right amount of sweetness, and in my opinion a decent size and definitely filled in the shells as much as they can hold. Nothing rinky dink (small) in food size about this restaurant, but hey, that's a good thing.
